As a barrister specialising in family law for the past ten years, I can provide you with experienced advocacy and litigation skills. I offer current legal advice so that you can make informed decisions to deal with your family disputes.
I am experienced in both parenting and property settlement matters.
I can settle your affidavits and other material prepared by your solicitor for your next Court appearance.
I can play a crucial role in navigating the emotional and legal issues within family law. My aim is to achieve a just and equitable outcome for my clients.
I can appear in all aspects of family law including relocation applications and contravention applications. I regularly am briefed to:

1. Representation: I appear on behalf of clients in all aspects family law proceedings focusing upon advocating for their best interest and the best interests of their children;

2. Legal Advice: I provide practical and ethical legal advice to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and the potential outcomes of their proposed case;

3. Drafting Documents: I have the ability to prepare and settle affidavits, case outlines and offer my experienced advice on proposed consent orders for property and parenting matters;

4. Negotiation: I regularly engage in family law disputes and mediations. As a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, I am well equipped to negotiate and achieve practical resolutions between the parties to reach an amicable settlement outside of the court, but unfortunately trials do have to be conducted and I have extensive experience in conducting trials;

5. Research and Preparation: I pride myself on the extensive preparation I engage in preparing for every brief, and

6. Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution: As a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner I have facilitated mediation sessions to help parties to resolve their disputes in an effort to avoid trials. It is always preferable for parties to agree and develop their own orders by consent rather than having orders being imposed upon them after a trial.
